Chuck Greene has come to Fortune City, America’s newest gambling paradise, to compete in “Terror is Reality,” a gruesome game show that dares contestants to survive zombie-filled environments for big money prizes at the delight of TV audiences around the globe. Chuck’s motivation for taking part and risking life and limb is his daughter Katey, who since being bitten by a zombie requires a daily dose of Zombrex to prevent her from turning into one of the living dead. During his time in Fortune City a zombie outbreak occurs and Chuck must survive the onslaught of the undead for 72 hours. Players will shoot, stab, carve and drive their way through enemies in the darkly comedic, no holds-barred confines of Fortune City.
Tons of Zombies On Screen
The undead are everywhere creating a dynamic and challenging zombie-killing experience for the player as weapons will be created to kill massive amounts of zombies at one time!
Co-op play is introduced to the Dead Rising universe for the first time as players can invite their friends to partner up with them at any time to take on the zombie massacre- tag-team style! Lure zombies in using strategic items like a toy helicopter or a firecracker while your friend rains bullets from above.
Terror is Reality
Allows 4 players to compete in a gladiator type show that pits zombies against a group of players in the ultimate Vs. multiplayer blood bath
Players can combine two everyday items using duct tape to create the ultimate zombie killing creations such as the Portamower and Paddlesaw. The more zombies you destroy using your creative combo’s, the more Prestige Points you can earn which levels up Chuck along the way.
Chuck was once a reckless playboy who eventually settled into a happy family life. A happiness that was shattered by the Las Vegas zombie outbreak. Chuck lost his beloved wife and his young daughter, Katey, was bitten. Chuck does whatever he must to get money for a steady supply of life-saving medication for his daughter.
Chuck’s 7 year-old daughter, Katey, watched her mother die in a zombie outbreak, and was herself bitten. To avoid zombification, she must take the expensive and controversial medication, Zombrex, each day. She is plucky and unusually brave for a little girl – adaptable and playful, despite the trauma she’s been through.
Stacey is a 20-something, passionate, assertive idealist, and head of the zombie rights group CURE (Citizens for Undead Rights and Equality). Stacey will fight tooth and nail for what she believes in – that zombies are just infected people, and that killing them in the game show “Terror is Reality” is cruel and demeaning to infected survivors everywhere.
TK is the host and producer for the controversial and popular pay-per-view television game show “Terror Is Reality”. He’s ambitious, glib, charming and charismatic. TK has no problems with killing zombies for the entertainment value – and the profits. He is always on the lookout for another opportunity at riches.
